Back in 2015, we took a family vacation to Holland which lasted 9 days. The bulk of time (eight days and seven nights) we stayed at the Landal Rabbit Hill holiday resort, about 15 minutes drive from Apeldoorn.

Most of the information you can get from their site, but I decided to write this blog to give a bit more information, based on our experience there.
The resort is very well kept and is quite clean.
The bungalows sit within the forest, so there is quite a lot of privacy. For the best bungalows, it's recommended to order well ahead of time. We ordered about eight months before our trip and managed to reserve a bungalow that was walking distance from the center. There is also a limited number of non-smoking rooms.
There's plenty of parking all over. Each bungalow has his own parking space. Plus there is a large car park near the center.
The staff are very professional and answer any question.
From the main office, situated at the resort center, you can buy tickets to many attractions. This is worth while, because they get reductions.
In the resort, you can find (Some are for extra pay):
- A convenient store (not cheap at all, but very convenient). When you first stock up on supplies for your room, it's better to go to one of the nearby villages and buy there.
- A laundry room (5 Euros for a wash, and half a Euro for every 15 minutes in the dryer).
- Indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
- A large playroom for the kids.
- Outdoor playground.
- Animals (rabbits and such)
- Bowling
- Mini-golf
- Bicycle for hire
- Tennis court
- Restaurants
- Shows for the kids (in Dutch)
- Bedrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, and a small room to keep your luggage in.
- Separated toilet and bathroom
- Separated Bathroom and shower (in the same room)
- TV and DVD player (which we never used)
- Kitchen utensils
- Fridge
- Dishwasher
- Oven/Microwave combo
- Kettle
- Broom + Vacuum
- Cupboard with shelves in each room
- Outside sitting area
- Heating in every room. There was no AC for hot days.
When you order your bungalow, sheets and towels are extra. You can bring your own if you want. The towels are also not for use in the pools. Bring your own.
For toilet, you get only one roll of toilet paper, so add that to the supply list.
For the dishwasher, you get three tablets. Use the wisely. There is no dish soap and you get one garbage bag. It's also requested to separate the garbage. There are special bins around the resort for glass, paper, cardboard.
At the end of your stay, they ask that you remove all the bedding, and leave the room clean (including clean dishes and an empty fridge).
There are many guests from many countries, so be nice :)
We enjoyed our stay very much.
